The Flower Fairy

Sweet fairy of the flowers
Busy as the day is long
Tenderly cleaning the petals and stems
Singing your soft fairy song.
You polish and shine with moon dust
And sparkles from the stars
Finishing off with fairy dust
You keep in tiny pink jars.
Now work is over, its time for repose
In that place you love most of all
Deep in the heart of a golden rose
Sleep little one, till nightfall.

I got my believe buttons from
angelfire.
I Believe

I've always believed in fairies, since I was just knee high
But I never actually see one however hard I try
I'm sure they're here somewhere, hiding in the grass
Peeping out with care, watching who goes past.
I can feel them near me, I hear them sometimes too
Like a whisper in the breeze, saying whatever shall we do
I may never see one, but I don't really care
Because I know they're with me, quietly sitting there.
If you should ever see one, be careful do take care
For if you win their trust you'll be rich beyond compare,
Filled with fairy blessings, fairy laughter, wait and see
But if they take you home with them, please remember me.

Hello

I see you little fairy
sitting beneath the tree
How pleased I am to see you
I wonder if you can see me.
I would love to meet you
This is a special day
Will you come and say hello
Or turn and fly away.
I step a little closer
See you turn your head
Have I made you run from me
No, you look and smile instead.
I hesitate, put out my hand
You step on gracefully
As I slowly bend my head
You whisper hello to me.
My heart, it leaps with pleasure
As I hear your single word
This is my greatest treasure
The sweetest sound I ever heard.
You smile and prettily spread your wings
Rise gently into the air
Goodbye little one I call as you leave
Goodbye, and do take care.
